Personal Calendar Integration
The Personal Calendar Integration feature allows residents to sync their Cubigo schedule with their personal calendar (e.g., Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar).
Important Note
Each calendar type has its own configuration and refresh mechanism (e.g., some refresh overnight, while others update when opened). This affects how the schedule is displayed and how up-to-date it appears to residents.

How It Works
- The integration is a one-way sync from Cubigo to the personal calendar.
- All scheduled items from the resident's Cubigo calendar will be added to their personal calendar, except for maintenance, housekeeping, IT support, valet, contact, and suggestions (since these don't have a specific date/time).
Setting Up the Integration
-
Navigate to the User Profile:
- The resident can set this up themselves by going to their Resident Profile > Account > Personal Calendar Card.
-
Enable the Calendar Sync:
- Click My Schedule to enable the integration. This will generate a unique URL.
-
Add to Personal Calendar:
-
Copy the URL and add it to your personal calendar (e.g., Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook).
-
In Apple Calendar, click Add Subscription Calendar, paste the URL, and give it a title.
-
This will automatically populate the personal calendar with all events that have a scheduled time.
-
Synchronize to Your Apple Calendar
- Open your Apple Calendar on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap on Calendars at the bottom of the screen.
- A new screen will open. Scroll down and tap Add Calendar in the bottom left corner.
- In the pop-up window, select Add Subscription Calendar.
- Paste the URL you copied from Cubigo (see the previous steps for details) into the Subscription URL field.
- Click Subscribe and give the calendar an appropriate name, such as Cubigo Schedule.
- All events with a specific date and time, such as subscribed activities, planned transportation, and concierge appointments, will sync to your Apple Calendar.
Hide Your Synced Apple Calendar
- Open the Apple Calendar app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap Calendars at the bottom of the screen.
- Find the synced calendar you want to hide.

- Go to your Google Calendar and locate Other calendars in the side panel.
- Choose the option to Add Calendar and then select From URL.
- Paste the URL you copied from Cubigo into the URL from calendar field to sync both schedules.
- Click Add Calendar and wait for the confirmation message from Google to activate the synchronization.
- Your Cubigo schedule will now appear in your list of calendars in Google Calendar.
- You can customize the appearance of your Cubigo activities by assigning a specific color to your synced Cubigo calendar.
Hide Your Synced Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar in a web browser.
- On the left side panel, under Other Calendars, find the synced calendar you want to hide.
- Click on the three-dot menu next to the calendar name.
- Select Hide from list to hide the calendar.
Alternatively, if you're using the Google Calendar app, you can click on the checkmark next to the calendar to hide it from view.
Event Display and Status
-
Scheduled Events:
If the event has a date and time, it will appear on the corresponding date and time in the personal calendar. -
All Day Events:
If the event doesn't have a specific scheduled time, it will show as an All Day Event. -
Event Cancellations:
If an event is canceled or the user unsubscribes from it, the event will appear as "Canceled" for canceled events and "Unsubscribed: Canceled" for events that you have unsubscribed from.
Note: The specific wording and behavior of cancellations may vary depending on the calendar service used (e.g., Google, Outlook, or Apple).
