Table of Contents
Getting Started
From your Cubigo homepage, tap or click the Maintenance cube. This opens the service overview. Tap or click Place Request to begin.
- On the app: You'll move through the request form one step at a time.
- On the web: All fields are displayed on a single screen.
Request Form Fields
- Location: Select where the maintenance needs to be carried out. Your apartment is set as the default. Tap or click Choose from list to see all available locations.
- If you select Other, use the comment box to specify the location (for example: community hallway, laundry room, or parking lot). Please note: The Other option might not be available at your community.
- If you're requesting maintenance for your own apartment, you'll also have the option to allow a technician to enter even if you're not home. Selecting this option is likely to help get the issue resolved more quickly.
- Room: If the request is for your apartment, select the room where the maintenance is needed. Tap or click Choose from list to see the available options. If the room isn't listed, select Other and specify it in the comment box.
- Type of Issue: Select the category that best describes your issue. If nothing fits, select Other and describe it in the comment box.
- Comment: Use this field to provide any additional details that will help staff understand and resolve the issue. There's no character limit, so feel free to be as descriptive as needed.
Add a Photo
Adding photos helps the maintenance team understand the issue before they visit.
- On the app: When you reach the Add a Photo step, tap the +Add photo button to select images from your photo library or camera.
- On the web: Scroll to the bottom of the request form and click the +Add a photo button. You'll be prompted to select images from your device.
You can attach up to 5 photos per request. Please only include photos of the maintenance issue itself.
Confirming Your Request
On the app: Before submitting, you'll see a summary of your request details. Review everything here and tap the pencil icon next to any field to edit it if you missed something or made a mistake. Once you're happy, tap Confirm to place your request.
On the web: Once you've filled in all the details, tap or click the Place Request button at the bottom of the form. Your request won't be saved or sent to staff until this step is completed.
What Happens Next
On the app: After confirming, you'll be taken to a new screen and a confirmation message will appear. From there you can tap Back to home, View your request, or Place another request.
On the web: After submitting, you'll be taken back to the previous screen and a confirmation message will appear. From there you can click Back to home, View your request, or Place another request.
In both cases, the responsible staff member will be notified and will reach out if they have any questions or to arrange a time to carry out the maintenance.
