What Are Nested Information Pages?
Nested Information Pages allow you to organize content within a service landing page into a structured hierarchy — up to three levels deep. This makes it easier for residents to navigate complex content areas such as fitness programs, dining information, or community services.
- Level 1 — the top-level page within a service landing page (e.g., Fitness)
- Level 2 — a sub-page beneath a level 1 page (e.g., Famous Exercises)
- Level 3 — the deepest level allowed (e.g., Flexibility, Mobility, Walking)
Setting Up & Reordering Pages in the Back Office
Nested pages are managed from the Pages tab within a service landing page in the back office.
- Navigate to the relevant service landing page and open the Pages tab.
- To create a nested page, add a new page under an existing page to place it at the next level down.
- To reorder pages, use the drag and drop handles to move pages up, down, or to a different level within the hierarchy.
- Changes are saved automatically upon reordering.
Note: A maximum of three levels deep is supported. You cannot create a level 4 page.
Attachment Limits
- Each page supports up to 100 attachments.
- This applies to all page levels within the hierarchy.
- Attachments are visible to residents in a dedicated Files section when viewing the page in the app.
Pill Notifications for Page Changes
When a page is updated or a new page is added, residents are automatically notified through a pill indicator displayed in the app. This keeps residents informed of relevant content changes without requiring any action from staff beyond saving the page.
Pill types
- New — displayed when a new page has been added
- Updated — displayed when existing content on a page has been changed, including text edits, attachment additions, or reordering
How pills behave
- Pills are visible on the service landing page and cascade down through the hierarchy so residents can locate exactly which nested page has changed.
- A pill is dismissed automatically when the resident navigates to and opens the updated page.
- If a resident has not viewed the change within 14 days, the pill is removed automatically.
How Residents Experience Nested Pages
In the resident-facing app, the information section has been updated to reflect the nested structure:
- When opening a service landing page, residents see a updated design with the current page's details at the top and any sub-pages listed below.
- A dedicated Files section displays all attachments belonging to the current page.
- New and Updated badges appear on pages with recent changes and are dismissed once the resident views the page.
- Residents can navigate up to three levels deep directly within the app.
If you have any questions about setting up nested information pages for your community, our Support team is happy to help.
Note: The three-level depth limit and 14-day pill expiry are fixed platform settings and cannot be configured per community.
