Navigate to Dining --> Metrics to consult the POS metrics.

You can use the date filters to select the date range or the particular date. We have extended the date range on the Power BI Dining POS report to 1 year → ONLY FOR EU.
 
You will find there the following tabs:
 
The Orders tab.
The grouped bar chart shows for each date the number of orders placed, separated for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The total number of orders is shown on the side.

Note: you can filter on a table type available - bar table vs regular table.

The Customers tab.

The grouped bar chart shows for each date the number of participants, separated for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The total number of customers is shown on the side.

The Revenue tab. 

The grouped bar chart shows for each date the total revenue, separated for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The total revenue is shown on the side.

Note: the revenue is based on the item list prices. It does not take into account bundle prices and discounts/billing logic. This will be improved/added in Q1 2022.

The Revenue Gross/Net tab shows the gross (incl. taxes) and net (excl. taxes) revenue represented in community currency for each day of the week.

The total revenue amount (taxes in and out) is shown on the side for the selected period.

The Top Items Revenue tab shows the top 8 menu items that generate the highest revenue in a pie chart. Food and drinks are shown separately and the related revenue per item is shown. Food items are items in all courses except for drinks. A list of all items is added on the side, sorted from highest to lowest revenue.

The Top Items tab shows the top 8 most popular menu items in a pie chart. Food and drinks are shown separately and the amount of orders per item is shown. Food items are items in all courses except for drinks. A list of all items is added on the side, sorted from highest to lowest number of orders.

The Payment methods tab shows the number of times paid and the amount paid per payment type.

The Processing time tab shows:

  • Average time from seat to close: for the 3 services separately (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), the average time between the first seating (add a participant to a table) and seating closure

  • Average time from seat to first serve: for the 3 services separately (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), the average time between the first seating (add a participant to a table) and serving of the first order (first-time table status changes to ‘served’)

The Customer roles tab.
The 1st bar chart shows the number of customers per role.
The 2nd bar chart shows the revenue per role, both absolute and proportionally.

Additionally, the last four tabs will give you detailed data on the transactions, seatings, voids, tips, and comps.
