CLM | The personae ‘contact’ and ‘prospect’: what’s the difference ?

In the creation and follow-up of the requests, we make a distinction between the personas 'Contact' (contact person) and 'Prospect' (future customer).

Hereby is a short explanation:

Option 1: the person makes a request for himself/herself, he/she is the future customer for your organization, this person is the prospect also self-decision maker. This person will be given the role 'prospect' everywhere in Cubigo (until he/she effectively becomes a customer).

Option 2: the person has a request for someone else, this person is then your contact person and usually also the decision-maker. He/she makes the request for someone else's name (the prospect). This person will be given the role of 'contact' throughout Cubigo.
