Internal notes inform you as staff about something that happened to a resident or something that needs attention. If this issue asks for an active follow up or action, you can create a task. As for example a fall incident that generates a task to call a doctor. Therefore a task can have an assignee and a due date.
The tasks are accessible via user management in the section Tasks and are listed (chronological). No notifications are triggered to staff members. Staff members will be informed about the tasks assigned to them via the home screen.
Create a task
A task always relates to an internal note. So you create a note for a specific resident or you open an existing note if you want to register a specific task related to that note. All notes and tasks can be created, edited and removed by all staff, service staff and admin users.
Manage a task
The section Tasks gives an overview of each separate task detail (newest task on top) with the assignee, status and action button. A note that generates 2 different tasks will list 2 tasks in this list.
Staff can consult the tasks overview and see which tasks need to be done by when and by whom. The task grid can be filtered on due date (timeframe from-to), on all tasks assigned to my user, on resident (subject), assignee and status.
Click on a task to open the task detail where you can:
- change note type & content
- flag/unflag note
- add attachment
- add tasks
- mark task as done
- assign task and give due date
- change a due date
- change an assignee
A task completed will disappear from the task overview list.
