TELS Direct Supply
Overview
When a community implements the TELS integration, the following functionalities become available in the Cubigo application:
-
Three services can be integrated with TELS: Maintenance, Housekeeping, and IT Support
-
Residents can create requests with a familiar look and feel across any or all of these services
-
Staff can create requests on behalf of residents
-
Requests are pushed instantly to TELS
-
Residents are notified about status changes to their requests
-
Residents can review their requests and charges
New requests in Cubigo are immediately created in TELS using a stateless API connection by the Cubigo back-end. Afterwards, our back-end application checks for status changes and updates the corresponding requests in Cubigo. The user who created the request in Cubigo will be notified of any status changes.
Reviewing Maintenance Tickets in Cubigo
When the TELS integration is activated, the Action column is grayed out in Cubigo since the status is updated in TELS and synced to Cubigo.
Comments
Please note that while comments created in TELS will not flow back to the request detail in Cubigo, there is the option to enable comments within Cubigo so that team members can place updates via the comments section of the Cubigo back office if desired. (Please contact Cubigo Support at customersupport@cubigo.com to enable comments within maintenance requests for TELS-integrated communities if needed.)

Billing Automation
When the TELS billing automation is activated in a community, billing amounts automatically flow back from TELS to Cubigo, eliminating the need for a team member to manually update the billable amount in Cubigo in addition to TELS.
Team members can toggle the TELS ticket to indicate "charge back to resident expected" and enter the appropriate billing reason in the text field as in the example below.
Cubigo-TELS Field Mapping
Requested By
The "Requested By" field provides important context about how a request was initiated, whether by a resident, team member, or another user. The field contains the role of the individual who submitted the ticket in Cubigo, and when departments are used and assigned to team member accounts in Cubigo, the field shows the applicable department as well. This information allows team members to easily follow up on TELS request details if submitted by a team member instead of a resident.
