Some definitions in the parameters for the configuration of the visits. You can modify this configuration yourself via Visit Settings.
Capacity = the maximum number of visits (visitors) that can be booked for a certain unit of time at a visiting location.
Visiting location = a specific location in the facility where visitors can be received, e.g. 'Dale Box 1', 'Brasserie', 'Terrace'.
Each visiting location has its own characteristics: who can be visited there? How long does a visit last? , how many visitors can be received at the same time ? You must assign each resident to a visiting location. If not, this occupant can only receive visitors at the 'general' visiting location of the residence. For each occupant there are several visiting locations possible. You can change the visiting location for a resident via the profile.
Schedule = a recurring weekly schedule of visiting slots and numbers of visits per slot. A visit schedule can be updated, but the update is not always immediately effective, depending on the planned visit requests. You can choose from when a change to a visit schedule takes effect.
Last slot= how far in the future a visit calendar is open and visits can be booked. You can set this time yourself per visit schedule. During this time, no changes to the schedule are possible (only changes to the capacity of a certain day or time of day), as these may conflict with existing bookings.
You can define a minimum time in advance and a maximum time in advance. The minimum advance time is set to 24 hours by default. This means that a visit can only be scheduled for the next day, not for today. The maximum advance time indicates how far in the future the visit calendar will be opened.
Day capacity = it is possible to book a few days in advance (only a few days, not the weekly schedule). This makes it possible to make exceptions to the active schedule.
Assign = the visit location and the visit restriction you set for a resident.
This schedule explains concretely how these parameters will determine the visit calendar and from when certain adjustments will take effect.
