Find the news articles in back office (left panel) under Publish.
Go to Items to get the overview/grid of the different news items that are created and/or published in your community.
Each line in the grid represents one specific news article. Here you can also see the number of comments on a specific news item.
Starting from the grid, you can change the status of a news article between Publish and Unpubish.
There's a search field on top of the news item grid to search on news item title.
Once unpublished, the news article and the comments placed on it are no longer visible in the News section. You can later republish this news item again using the same status button.
By clicking on a specific item (line) you enter the article details page where you can make modifications to an article and save.
Clicking on a news article, opens also the next ' Comments' page where we list all comments posted on news article.
Go to the Action column to manage/intervene in this comments.
Publish to digital signage
News articles are broadcast daily. You can manage the publication to digital signage within your community. This feature is checked by default (if digital signage is activated in your community). You can select to which screens (select a community channel TV1, TV2 and TV3, … ) this information is published.
When "Publish to my digital signage system" is selected for a specific news item, you can manage the broadcasting via "Restrict broadcast". You have 4 options for broadcasting:
- Until 7 days after publishing
- Until 15 days after publishing
- Until 30 days after publishing
- Specify: select the start date (today) till end date (default today+7 days) in the date picker
The selected start and end dates are applied to the digital signage broadcasting, they do not apply to the news thread on the homepage.
