As an admin, you can create a family relation (or connection) between a contact and a resident.
The resident gives permission to register a contact in order to share data on engagement and service requests with their family members.
As an admin, you can create a new Cubigo user. As part of user creation, you can:
- send out an invitation email to onboard this user
- define one or more contacts by selecting an existing user(s) and specifying the relation (father, child, etc.,)
- enable contact follow-up if the connection is between a resident and family user
As a community, you can specify a welcome text to onboard your family users.
Option 1: Create a family user and create a connection to a resident
Go to User-->Residents and click on [Add user]. A user contact form opens where you can enter all relevant user information. In the lower part of this form, you can enter the relation to one of your residents and register the consent by clicking on [+Add contact]. You can also enter a personal note to detail this relation.
Now this user is created as a family member connected to a particular resident. You can now send an invitation email to this user that will guide them through the process of joining Cubigo.
From the first visit, this family user will receive the family widget on their home screen.
Option 2: create a family connection for an existing user
Go to the user's profile --> Connections tab.
Click on [Add connection].
The contact form will be opened:
You can add an existing contact.
Once this connection is created by admin/staff, the family user and resident can delete a contact (each other), change the relation type, and activate/deactivate the follow-up within the contact section of their profile.
Residents have the ability to create a contact via the connections tab within their profile. While they have the ability to create this contact, they do not have the administrative ability to link themselves to that contact to allow for management of activities or provide engagement tracking. Residents can simply create non-account contacts. You can think of it like a digital rolodex for them.
To remove or modify a connection simply click on the pencil icon:
