New features in Cubigo
Release scheduled for July 18, 2018
Staff & Resident
Digital signage: integration Focus4Media
We built an API integration with Focus4Media, enabling us to display Cubigo content on digital signs (community wall screens, TVs, displays,…).
The community activities, dining menu for today and most recent news are automatically broadcasted. Staff can select which content flows to the screens and which content flows to which screens (in the screenshot below, the community channels are TV1, TV2 and TV3).
Maintenance: integration with Worxhub
After an integration with TELS, we now also built an API integration for Worxhub. Maintenance requests placed in Cubigo flow automatically to Worxhub and status changes that are made to the Worxhub ticket flow back to Cubigo. We can also activate the option for a resident to insert a due date and indicate a priority, if desired.
Upload files to services (1/2)
We introduce the capability to upload documents in Cubigo for the service landing pages. A service landing page is the first page the resident sees when clicking on a service/cube. Staff can upload docx, xlsx and PDF files in the backoffice Information section of every service to display them on the service landing pages. Files can be grouped in a landing page tab.
Upload files to services (2/2)
The uploaded files are presented to residents for viewing and downloading on the service landing pages.
Examples of community information that can be shared with residents this way:
list of phone numbers, surveys, resident handbook, resident rights, policies, floor maps, forms for approval (CPR, …), info on external services, phonebooks, financial & budget reports, ED notes to resident, forms (out of town form,…), weekly memos, newsletters,…
Integrated document viewer
The uploaded files can be viewed inline in Cubigo, the resident does not need to leave Cubigo or open new browser pages.
The inline viewer contains functionalities like text search, zooming, page thumbnails, printing… The user can also download the original file by clicking the ‘download’ button.
Reset password functionality
On the login page, we now offer the option to reset a password in case the user forgot it.
When requesting a new password, the user will receive an e-mail with a link to a page in Cubigo where he/she can enter a new password.
Invitation & activation (1/2)
After creating a user account in the admin user management section, an admin can now send an automatic invitation mail to the new user(s) to welcome them on Cubigo and invite them to activate their account and set a password. The admin can do this with the action ‘send invite’ in the user grid or in the dropdown below the grid.
The admin can see in the user overview who activated their account (verified/unverified status below mail address).
The admin can also send invites to a group of users, with a filter for verified/unverified users and a filter on role. That way the admin can e.g. resend an invite to all unverified users or to only users with a staff role.
Invitation & activation (2/2)
The invited user receives an e-mail. The content of this mail can be a custom welcome message for each community.
The mail also contains a button ‘Let’s get started’ that links to an account activation page in Cubigo.
When logging in for the first time, the user is guided through the application in an animated wizard to get a basic introduction of the available functionalities.
Location in activities overview
We now show the activity location on the activity card in the activity overview.
The menu items in the header have been made more obvious by enlarging them and giving them an icon.
