Have a look at the information pages of the Transportation cube to see what type of transportation is offered in your community and the conditions for making a request; for example, shopping mall, doctors appointment, or a recurring drive to church.
Begin by clicking or tapping the button [Place request].
First, enter your Departure: The default community location is set as the departure location, or, you can click on the box, then enter another departure location:
Next: Enter your Destination location:
Then, enter the Date and Time you would like to arrive:
Depending on the organization in your community, you can also request transportation outside the fixed departure times. This type of request can be marked as ‘billable’ for one of the following reasons.
Indicate the Direction:
If you select a Roundtrip, you can indicate the return time. This feature is not available in all communities, but depends on the configuration of the settings.
Add any Extra service and mobility devices you may be bringing with you:
And finally, add any Special requests you may have:
Confirm your service request by clicking or tapping the blue [Request] button.
Each time you submit a request, a notification box will appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Quick Tip: Selecting the appropriate time
Do you have some difficulty in selecting the time in the time picker tool? Double-click/tap on the time (hh:mm) to manually type in the correct time. Use the arrow buttons on your keyboard to switch between AM and PM.
