How to export a calendar for printing
1. To print an overview of all the activities in your community, go to the back office
ACTIVITIES > Items
2. Select the items you want to include in the calendar. If you have difficulty finding and selecting the item(s) you are looking for, please view the following article:
How to find, edit or select the items in an overview page
3. Each community can deliver its own branded calendar template (logo, picture). The calendar exports can be used without any layout optimizations.
In the top right corner of the Activities overview screen, click on the Export drop-down list to see the following options: Day view, Week view landscape, Week view portrait, Month view, and Export to PDF
Select the view that is relevant to you. Cubigo will start to download a Microsoft Word document to your computer or mobile device with the calendar content.
4. Before exporting Day view, Week view landscape, Week view portrait, and Month view, you will be asked to choose the following:
Facilitator
You have the option to add facilitators in all activity calendar exports. When enabled, the first name of the facilitator is added to each activity.
Include dimensions markup
Activating this setting will add an icon in the day export and a tag in the week and month exports for each activity's dimension.
Include dimensions legend
It shows an overview of all dimension names with the icons/tags.
Click on the [Generate] button to begin exporting the calendar.
Birthdays
You can add birthdays to be included to the calendar export for the selected period of time.
The birthdays are printed in a birthday section. This shows the users' names, birthdays, and possibly their ages based on their profile settings*.
*The user has the option to show their birthday (with age or without age) or not to show their birthday in the privacy settings. This will be respected in the export.
For the Week and Month exports an indication is also added to the days containing birthdays.
Font size
Font sizes are measured in points; 1 point (abbreviated as 'pt') is equal to 1/72 of an inch. The Point size refers to the height of a character. Thus, a 12-pt font is 1/6 inch in height. The default font size in Microsoft Word is 11 pts.
When the export settings box appears, click on the Font size to choose the size of your text and export to PDF. You can also indicate AM/PM next to the times in the export.

Note: Due to differences between operating systems and printer drivers, the pages may not match perfectly with your printer. Always revise the print and page setup settings before printing any document.
If you do not want the activities of one day to be spread across two pages, then we recommend you add a [page break] at the beginning of the day to force it to display on the next page.
