Dining Census
The Dining Census allows you to track dining activity, including both POS (Dining Room) and In-Suite dining, through the Reports section in the Dining > Reports back office grid.
Key Features
Data Overview:
-
The census reports include data from both Dining POS and In-Suite Dining, available through Daily or Monthly Census reports. These reports track whether users have ordered food at specific locations, during designated meal slots, and on particular days.
Color Coding:
- Color Coding for Anomalies:
Color coding is used to highlight any anomalies or gaps in dining patterns. This makes it easier to identify when a resident is missing meals or not participating in the dining program.
Export Options
You can export both the Daily Census and Monthly Census (past or current) directly from the back office grid.
Daily Census Report:
-
The Daily Census report provides a snapshot of residents' dining activity for a specific day, showing:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Role
- Location
- Timeslot (breakfast, lunch, or dinner)
- Date
- Has Attended (whether the resident attended dining)
-
In-Suite Dining Orders (web/app orders):
If a resident has ordered in-suite, the Has Attended column will display Room in the applicable cell. -
Multiple Dining Orders:
If a resident has ordered multiple meals in one day, both orders will appear separately in the report. -
Dining Room Orders (Dining POS):
If the resident dined in the dining room, an X will appear in the Has Attended cell.
Monthly Census Report:
-
Monthly Overview:
The Monthly Census report provides a broader view of dining participation over the course of the month, showing whether a resident has attended dining sessions (either in the dining room or in-suite). It also includes the first name, last name, role, timeslot, and has attended columns. -
Anomalies:
If a resident has not participated in any dining (either in the dining room or via in-suite orders), the corresponding cell will turn red, indicating an anomaly. -
In-Suite Orders:
If a resident has ordered in-suite meals, the cell will show an R instead of Room. -
Dining Room Orders:
If a resident has participated in dining in the dining room, a check mark (✔) will appear in the report.
