Transportation Exports

You can generate either a PDF or Excel file containing the transportation requests that have occurred at your community. These exports provide a detailed overview of the requests and include relevant information for easier tracking and reporting.

Key Features of the Export

• First Comment Included:
  The first comment on each transportation request (e.g., special requests) will be included in the export, providing context for each entry. For Excel, the first comment will be added in a new column, making it easier to review. 

• Streamlined Format:
  Images and completely empty columns will be omitted to enhance readability.

• Dynamic Font Size for PDF Export:
  The font size in the PDF export is dynamically adjusted based on the amount of content in the export. This ensures that the document remains easy to read and appropriately formatted regardless of the data volume.

• Grouped Information:
  Departure and arrival times, as well as drive and vehicle details, are grouped together for a more organized layout.

• Simplified Data:
  The request creation date will be excluded, and comments will be moved to a new line, displayed only if a comment exists.

Generating the Export

1. To generate an export, navigate to the Export dropdown.
2. Choose either PDF or Excel format.
3. Once the export is generated:
   • In the PDF export, the first comment (special request) will be included for each transportation request.
   • Any missing information (e.g., if the driver or vehicle is not selected) will result in those columns being excluded from the export. This optimization reduces the file size and makes the document more streamlined.
